We are the descendants of Barney Spanger, born Sholem Behr Spanjer to Leib and Leibe Spanjer in Radviliskis, Lithuania circa 1900, and Freda Spanger, born to Gustav and Clara Z of Riga, Latvia, in Cape Town, South Africa, circa 1910.
